Columbia River Sturgeon

George Rose, has lived on the Olympic Peninsula all of his life and has over forty years of fishing experience and twenty years of experience as a guide. One of the reasons he became a fishing guide is to bring the joy of fishing and the outdoors to people from all over the world. George's goal is for his clients to have a good time and to have a memorable outdoor experience.

It is possible to catch a 20 - 30 pound Steelhead, or a king salmon over 50 pounds!

On any given day you can see Elk, Deer and other wildlife during your guided experience. So whether it's a family trip, company outing, scenic trip or just a couple of buddies going fishing, you're sure to have a good time!

I will do a few springer trips on the Hoh, in May, river conditions permitting. I am off to the estuary on the lower Columbia for keeper sturgeon in June. If the state has an opening for summer chinook, I will do some trips out of Cathlamet. July, I will do some catch and release trips for sturgeon and some summer steelhead trips, on the Columbia. August, I will do some king and silver trips on the lower Columbia. There are going to be some big numbers coming up the Columbia. The first half of Septmber I will be on Willapa bay for kings and silvers. The second half of September I will be on Grays Harbor for Silvers. The first of October through November 13, I will be in the drift boat for kings and silvers on either the Humptulips or the Queets.
